Who we are
Quite Mathematical is a small independent publisher based in Ireland. For anything about your personal data, email hello@quitemathematical.com.
What we collect
If you sign up for free puzzles or news, we collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. Our email service also records when and how you signed up and when you confirmed, so we can show you agreed to hear from us.
If you email us, we keep your message and email address so we can reply.
We don’t use advertising or tracking cookies on this site.
Why we use it
We use your email address to send the free puzzles you asked for and occasional news about new Quite Mathematical books. We do this because you’ve given your consent. We never sell or share your details for anyone else’s marketing.
Who handles it for us
- MailerLite runs our sign-up form, stores our mailing list and sends our emails. MailerLite is based in the EU.
- Netlify hosts this website. Like most web hosts, it may briefly log visitors’ IP addresses for security and to keep the site running.
- Google Fonts supplies the typefaces on this site, so your browser connects to Google to load them.
Links to Amazon take you to Amazon’s own website, where Amazon’s privacy policy applies.
How long we keep it
We keep your email address until you unsubscribe or ask us to delete it. Every email we send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom.
Your rights
You can ask to see the personal data we hold about you, correct it, or have it deleted, and you can withdraw your consent at any time. Just email hello@quitemathematical.com.
If you’re unhappy with how we’ve handled your data, you can complain to the Data Protection Commission in Ireland at dataprotection.ie.
